Little Tweeks!

Below are some little tweeks to the game that can add to the fun. For other

changes / modifications to the game, see the "How to Play" drop down menu.

  • Little Tweek #1: "It Aint over til It's over"

    • If a player's last peg moves in their home base row with and card that gives you another turn (Ace, Joker, Face Card, Six) then you need to pull another card. If you get a Four you need to back out of your home base row. If you get another, Ace, Joker, Face Card or Six you need to pull another card.

  • Little Tweek #2: "Goes both ways"

    • Players who turn a Four can choose to move their peg forward or backward 4 spaces.

  • Little Tweek #3: "The Literal Rule"

    • This tweek applys at any time during a game when a player is in the process of turning over 4 cards to get out.

      • If they literally turn over a Two on their second card they get out

      • If they literally turn over a Three on their third card they get out.

      • If they literally turn over a Four on their fourth card, they get out, but they are placed in the corner, 4 spots to the right of their get out spot. This is very beneficial for the player as they can then just go right into their home base row in subsequent turns.

  • Little Tweek #4: "No Killin' "

    • This is more than a little tweek, but it is pretty simple, so it qualifies. If you land in a spot that already has an opponent's peg in it, you Die and get sent home, as opposed them being killed and sent home per standard play. This is a very different way to play and it goes faster than the standard game.

    • If you are playing in teams with this rule and you land on a teammate, they are still placed just outside outside their home base row.

    • A good strategy is to land on an opponents "get out" spot to keep them from getting out!
